I’ve been Team PlayStation ever since I could remember, but I switched to Team Xbox about a year or so ago and it’s been great. But, uhhhhhh, I gotta say—Sony’s PS5 event has me hyped. Like, to the point that I may just change the goal I set up with Simple from Xbox Series X over to PlayStation 5. Sony’s box is arguably uglier, with it’s I-just-unbuttoned-my-pants-after-Thanksgiving-dinner home router look…..but I’m kind of digging it?
The jury’s not out quite yet on if I’ll go PS5 over Xbox to start this generation, but with saving for a house and seeing little kiddos in the future, I can’t justify buying both at launch like I did this generation. If I were to buy two consoles it’d be either a PS5 or a Series X and a Pro model Switch (. PlayStation’s presentation really spoke to me with it’s diverse titles, most of which I’m sure will make their way over to Xbox, but it’s Sony’s stable of killer fucking exclusives that always get me. Especially when we’re talking about two of my all time gaming favorites: Horizon and Ratchet & Clank. Here’s the rundown of everything I could find a trailer for that was shown:
